Law Enforcement Investigator

The Detectives are specially trained and employ all of the national best practices when investigating sexual assault and serious child abuse cases.

Prosecutor

The prosecutor at NUSI covers both Grand Isle and Franklin counties.

DCF

Is the agency mandated by law to intervene in cases of child abuse. The DCF investigators conduct joint investigations with law enforcement.

Therapist

There is a private on-site therapist who provides services as necessary. 

Victim Advocate

On-site family advocacy is available for assistance with referrals. Our advocate provides services and information to all victims who come to NUSI regardless of where charges are brought.

Medical Care

NUSI partnered with Northwestern Medical Center Sexual Assault Program and with UVMMC Safe Program.
