The Northwest Unit for Special Investigations (NUSI) and Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting children and supporting families in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. As a 501(c)(3) organization and a proud member of the Vermont Children’s Alliance, we provide a safe, compassionate, and collaborative environment to address allegations of child abuse and neglect. Operating as a Special Investigations Unit, we are part of a statewide network of task forces focused on coordinated investigations, referrals, and advocacy services for sexual assaults and serious child abuse cases.
